Developing Culturally Sensitive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Psychosis.
The Clinical Trailblazers programme arose from the DRE Appropriate and Responsive Services building block. The aim was to tackle the very challenging clinically
related service change characteristics of the DRE Action Plan.
After a call out for submissions,
20 organisations were awarded funding from the Central DRE team to
support a range of interventions. These ranged from an audit and
interventions within a Home Treatment team to development of a Wellness
Recovery Action plan for BME communities.
Within the first year sites met
regularly for networking and support, and during the second year, 7 of
the 20 original sites received sustainability funding to develop their
original programmes further.
