An exciting opportunity has arisen to help the Financial Services Authority (FSA) implement their financial capability programme within the mental health sector. In partnership with the Government, the financial services industry, employers' organisations, consumer organisations and the not-for-profit sector, the FSA are working to increase people's understanding of financial issues, plan ahead and manage their money effectively as part of the National Strategy for Financial Capability.
The Adult Strategy & Development team is responsible for strategy and new initiatives to build the financial capability of adults including the most vulnerable members of society, as well as contributing to wider public policy aims such as economic wellbeing. The individual will help the FSA navigate the mental health service system and develop tools/ information which will support the implementation of financial capability.
The
secondment is for an initial period of six months and will be based in the
FSA's offices in Canary Wharf, London. Fixed
term contracts will also be considered.
