The NMHDU Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme curently has two vacancies in its national team based in London.
Commissioning
An opportunity has arisen for a Commisioning Project Manager to
contribute to the delivery of commissioning guidance and support tools
that support the World Class Commissioning of IAPT services, both now
and in the future. The post holder will take a lead in:
- developing guidance to inform PCT service specifications to support the procurement process (including CQUIN) in partnership with the NMHDU Commissioning Programme and the NHS Confederation.
- developing Commissioning, including Practice Based Commissioning, support tools
- Co-producing exemplar tender tools to inform PCT commissioners with PCT and SHA colleagues
- Publishing recommendations to inform the Commissioning cycle
- Providing clarity about how IAPT contributes and links to the wider mental health well-being pathway

Equalities
An oportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the National
IAPT Team to support the development and delivery of the IAPT
Equalities Review workstream. This will comprise:
- Reviewing available delivery evidence of IAPT first wave sites
- Identifying gaps in delivery against IAPT Equalities Impact Assessment (EqIA) policy for ensuring that the programme is available to all sections of the local community
- Disseminating progress to the NHS and identifying useful support products to enable local systems to provide greater equality of access to IAPT services as they mature
