
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. They regulate health and adult social care services whether they are provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies or voluntary organisations. And they protect the interests of people detained under the Mental Health Act and subject to the Mental Capacity Act Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is developing a strategy for its work on mental health over the next three to five years. They are keen to get your views (before Monday 7 September 2009) to help them develop the strategy.
