The conference is taking place on Friday 27 November at Inmarsat Conference Centre, 99 City Road, London, EC1Y 1AX.
This free of charge event is being jointly organised by the National AMHP Leads Network and the Social Care Institute for Excellence. The event is intended for members of the AMHP Lead network only.
The event will explore issues of leadership in Adult Mental Health Services. The day will consist of presentations, group discussions and workshops.
The theme of the event is 'Leadership of Social Care in Mental Health'. The event will start with presentations by Moira Gibb (Chair of the Social Work Taskforce) and Ruth Allen (Director of Social Work, South West London & St George's MHT). The presentations will be followed by group discussions on the theme of 'Leadership and the way forward for the network'.
During the afternoon you will be given the opportunity to attend two workshops, at 13:30 and 14:45. Please indicate your preferences. Workshops will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
A final copy of the programme will be sent prior to the event taking place, including a map of the venue and transport details.
